Welcome, and thank you for visiting Fountain Square Church of Christ online. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor
The Fountain Square Church of Christ is a Bible believing local church, a part of God's family that exists to glorify God. Our purpose can be summarized as sharing the message of Jesus Christ with others, seeking a deeper relationship with God, and serving others in Christian love.
Jesus loves you
We have now decided to cancel services and the Sunday morning classes. Robert Young has taped a sermon and put it on our Facebook page. We will attempt to put more on our social media outlets.
Plus we will be serving communion at the building but as a drive up only. Someone will come out to your car and serve it that way.
Sunday Bible class at 9:00am
Ladies class at 900am
Sunday Worship services are at 10:00 am and 6:00pm
Wednesday night service is 7:00 PM.
"The churches of Christ salute you."
What We Believe
The congregations within the church of Christ the world over are united in one faith by the word of God (Ephesians 4:3-6). Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and not the minister, elders, deacons, or any voted or appointed board of individual (Ephesians 1:22-23). The church of Christ is nondenominational with no central headquarters, governing body, or leader. We speak where the Bible speaks and we are silent where the Bible is silent. We do not follow the contemporary teachings of man but the documented teachings of Jesus Christ. Our worship service is as it is found in the Bible, complete with acapella singing.
Individuals who hear the word (Romans 10:17; St. Matthew 7:24-27), believe in Christ (Hebrews 11:6; St. John 3:16, St. Mark 16:15-16), repent of their sins (Luke 13:3-5: Acts 2:38; 17: 30-31), confess faith in Christ (Romans 10:8-10; Matthew 10:32-33: Acts 8:36-37), and are baptized into Christ for the remission of their sins (Romans 6:3; Galatians 3:27; Acts 22:16; I Peter 3:20-21) are known as Christians, and within the congregation these members are addressed simply as “Brother” or “Sister.”
